Duration of Event: 4-5 hours
Walk around the boutique Pohangina Valley Estate vineyard and olive grove and be guided by Nick Dymock through the picturesque sheep farm. Three varieties of grapes: chardonnay, pinot gris and pinot noir, are grown here to produce award winning wines. Sample six of their wines in a garden setting, while enjoying a picnic lunch (included in the price) and then continue on to Pohangina Wetlands for a walk around the wetlands. On the way back to the city stop off at the Herb Farm Cafe for a cup of coffee and for those who want to can take in the herb farm area and view their stunning fragrant garden and learn more about their 100% natural skincare and health products.
